First Hair Cut!

Caitlin got her first haircut today!  She was such a big girl; she sat in that chair, let us put the smock on her and cut away!  Now we just have to learn how to style her new "Baby Do"!

Chloe's Sonogram Pictures!

We had our 4D Sonogram of Chloe done today; it was so exciting to see her little face for the first time!  She slept most of the time, so we weren't able to get too many frontal shots of her face, but it was still so amazing to see her!  We are so excited to meet her!!

The New Year

Well, the New Year is already flying by!  Caitlin seems to be growing and changing every day now.  She not only walks, she runs everywhere now, and she's pretty darn fast!  She now says "bye bye" when she waves goodbye and her latest word is "Daddy!".  She walks around the house saying it when she's trying to find Tom; it's so cute.  For those of you that live in other states, the weather has been pretty nice here lately, except for a few very cold days sprinkled in between, but Caitlin doesn't mind; she just puts on her coat and runs outside to play! Here are some of our recent pics from the past few weeks since Christmas.

Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was so much fun!  Dad, Uncle Austin, Aunt Madison, Cici and Bear came over to our house Christmas Eve.  We opened presents and Caitlin had a ball seeing all her new toys.  Then Christmas Day Santa came and Caitlin got to play with all her new toys before going over to Cici and Bear's for dinner.  Although she was barely one year old, she seemed to enjoy the celebrations and we all had a very nice Christmas.  

As for "what's new with Caitlin"....she said her first word: "Baby".  Every time she sees a baby, whether it be a picture, a real baby, or herself in the mirror she says it.  It's so cute!  She also says "hi" when she waves, and she tells our two dogs to "stay" (something we are always telling them apparently) :)

Caitlin Meets Santa Claus

Caitlin met Santa for the first time this year!  People warned us she might cry the whole time, but there were no tears!  She just stared him down the entire time with a look of "who the heck are you Mr.?"

Caitlin turned 1-Year Today!

We had a nice party with just family, but we decorated to the fullest and there was plenty of cake and decorations!  Caitlin was in such great spirits for her party.  She helped open her presents and really seemed to enjoy herself.  I can't believe a whole year has gone by since she was born.  A year ago today our little baby girl came into this world, 6 lbs 8 ounces, so tiny and dependent upon us.  Now here she is a year later, walking, playing, jibber jabbing, and seeming to grow up so quickly.  Time fly's when you're happy.
