What a week!!!!

Well, this has been one amazing week!  Chloe Lynn O'Brien was born March 26, 2009.  She was 20 and 1/2 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces.  She is a lanky little girl with long arms, legs, fingers and toes.  She is healthy and we couldn't be more thankful.  Caitlin is proving to be an amazing big sister.  You would never guess she was only 15 months old.  She kisses her baby sister every time she sees her and tells her "hi baby" in the sweetest little voice.  Tom is back to work after taking off a week and I am healing well from the surgery.  We couldn't be happier that Chloe is here and part of our family.  What a blessing Caitlin and Chloe are.

What's New......

Hi there!  Things have been busy but wonderful here.  Caitlin is growing in every way possible.  She's talking up a storm now, with probably at least 20 words in her vocabulary.  She's also getting taller lately.  We go for her 15 month Dr. appointment next week, but I know she's at least 22 pounds and probably over 31 inches.  She is still such a happy baby.  She runs around with a smile on her face 95% of the time, and she says "hi" to every person she passes everywhere she goes.  I've told her over and over that she's going to have a baby sister soon, and she even rubs my tummy and says "baby"; however, she also now rubs her own tummy and says "baby"!  Chloe's set to be delivered on Thursday March 26th, unless she decides she wants to come earlier.  Our bags are packed, the nursery is ready, and we are so excited to meet our second little angel.

First Hair Cut!

Caitlin got her first haircut today!  She was such a big girl; she sat in that chair, let us put the smock on her and cut away!  Now we just have to learn how to style her new "Baby Do"!

We had our 4D Sonogram of Chloe done today; it was so exciting to see her little face for the first time!  She slept most of the time, so we weren't able to get too many frontal shots of her face, but it was still so amazing to see her!  We are so excited to meet her!!

The New Year

Well, the New Year is already flying by!  Caitlin seems to be growing and changing every day now.  She not only walks, she runs everywhere now, and she's pretty darn fast!  She now says "bye bye" when she waves goodbye and her latest word is "Daddy!".  She walks around the house saying it when she's trying to find Tom; it's so cute.  For those of you that live in other states, the weather has been pretty nice here lately, except for a few very cold days sprinkled in between, but Caitlin doesn't mind; she just puts on her coat and runs outside to play!
