First Pumpkin Patch Visit

We took Caitlin to her first Pumpkin Patch this past weekend.  When we first set her down amongst all the pumpkins, she was pretty scared of all the orange balls surrounding her, but after a little while she seemed to relax.  It was a beautiful day and Caitlin seemed to be enjoying herself!

Look Who's Standing!

Caitlin can stand up on her own now with no assistance.  She doesn't do it too often, but when you least expect it she'll be sitting down and the next thing you know she's standing up with nothing to hold on to!  She usually stands there for about 5-15 seconds, and then sits back down like nothing ever happened.  I've managed to catch two quick snapshots of her doing it!

What's New.....

Our last trip to the pool was fun, but it will probably be our last till next summer.  The water is getting cold, but that's ok.  That means Fall is almost here!!!

Caitlin likes hanging out in the backyard with the dogs.  What fun it will be when she can run around the yard!

9 Months Old Today!!

Wow...9 months old!  Time has flown by, but these have been the best 9 months ever.  Caitlin is doing great.  She has 5 teeth now, two on the bottom and 3 on top!  She's babbling all the time, but no specific words yet.  She weighs about 17 & 1/2 pounds and she loves her food...she is definitely not a picky eater...yea!  She loves to wave at strangers and is just such a sweet and happy baby.  Happy 9-month birthday Caitlin!

One Step Closer....!

Caitlin is cruising across the room with her walker all of a sudden!  She loves the independence she has to be able to walk on her own.  Here are a couple videos of her learning to walk.  Way to go little one!!

Here are a few recent pictures of Caitlin. She is doing great! She's crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything! Her front two top teeth have popped through and are slowly growing in, and she's becoming very verbal lately....of course it's just baby babble but it's so cute to listen to!

Bath Time!

Caitlin is 8 months old!

Caitlin turned 8 months old today. Wow, where has the past month gone? It feels like just yesterday that she was turning 7 months old. Everybody told me time would fly and she would grow up so quickly, and they were right! Caitlin had a nice day on her birthday. She spent some time over at Cici and Bear's and then she and I went for a swim! She still loves the water and it is so much fun to watch her play in it. As for new "baby stuff"....we've been working really hard on waving "hello" and "goodbye". I think she almost has it! O! And she has a new tooth! It's a top one, but not one of the front ones? I'm not sure if that's the order they're supposed to come in, so I'll have to ask my other mommy friends. Either way, it's a cute little tooth! O' the little milestones in a parents life!
